Ghost Productions is looking to hire a creative and hard-working Junior Front End Developer with exceptional HTML/CSS abilities and an eye for detail and quality to join our Interactive Team. As a Junior Front End Developer, you will assist with all of our internal and client interactive projects by helping create templates, perform site maintenance, and perform/assist with the web design process.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

 

1+ years of professional or verifiable freelance Front End Developer experience

Ability to write semantic and reusable HTML for templates, plugins and widgets.

Ability to write reusable CSS for web sites, web applications and mobile that degrade gracefully. Responsive Web Design experience a big plus.

Ability to write modular Javascript and accommodate older browsers.

Experience with javascript template and framework – mustache.js or handlebars.js or underscore.js is a plus

Experience using a canvas drawing framework (Create.js, Impact.js, Phaser.io) is a plus

1 year experience in front-end javascript framework preferred(ember.js/angular, etc) is a plus

Willingness to experiment

Understanding of trends in web design

Able to keep several projects moving ahead simultaneously

Some experience designing or developing templates for Drupal/Wordpress/Joomla frameworks

Some experience developing web applications a plus

Experience with Unity is a plus

Experience with Bootstrap 3 is a plus

OO Javascript preferred

OOCSS style preferred

Some Actionscript 3.0 knowledge helpful but not required.
