Project: Stem Cell Research AnimationĀ forĀ National Eye Institute (NEI)

Case Study: 3D Medical animation explaining STEM cell Research National Eye Institute (NEI)

MISSION: Build a dynamically animated, and visually compelling feature animation to help the National Eye Institute attract attention and support the Audacious Initiative to Cure Blindness; The goal of the Audacious Initiative : Stimulate more research and attention on regenerative medical applications for the eye; Specifically: Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma Treatment, and Retinitis Pigmentosa.

SOLUTION: We teamed up with the creative team at Hager Sharp, lead by Senior Multimedia Director, David Neidlinger to visualize the goals of the Audacious Initiative. The resulting animation was used to support a specific presentation that marked the start of the Audacious Initiative At this meeting the vision of the Audacious Initiative committee had to be clear and concise. We blended 2d and 3d animation to support the crafted message from the committee.

When Ghost Productions started making medical animation back in 1994, we did so play a role in helping medicine reduce human suffering. We’re honored to help Audacious Initiative to Cure Blindness
