Ectoplasmic Expansion

Written by:  Matthew Perrin

It may not always be obvious from reading our blog but every employee here at Ghost Productions works diligently to ensure that we produce top-notch medical animation and interactive visual media.  As in many modern offices, much of our work is conducted in quiet solitude, occupied by hours of staring at pixelated desktops filled with digital puzzles that continually challenge and inspire us.  Whatever the nature of those puzzles—drawing, animating, compositing, coding, writing, accounting—our desire to solve them leads us to gradually isolate ourselves from each other.  We are all familiar with this dilemma and, in order to maintain our mental health and team morale, we continually quest for new ways to strengthen our social bonds.

With that in mind, we are happy to announce that we have just expanded our physical location to include a new social space: Ectoplasm Labs.  This dedicated meeting place doubles as a conference room and banquet hall.  And while it may not match the glam and ambiance of the restaurants where we commonly celebrate Ghost birthdays, with a few candles and some incense, this place will be séance central in no time.  It’s also worth noting that the 3D TV, Playstation 3, and overstuffed sofa (invisible in the photo) already located here make this room a highly habitable haunt.  So where is everyone?  Working, of course!  That is to say, those who aren’t still on Independence Day vacation (and deserving of it). But though EP Labs might look deserted, peer a little closer and you can spot two Ghosties (in the machine…yes, the machine).
